Civil/Coastal Business Development

This position is: Full Time Position Location: Delcambre, LA Javeler Marine Services is a solutions-oriented service company providing subsea dredging and excavation to the US Gulf of Mexico market. With an exciting strategic plan to diversify and grow, we are looking to add a business development professional to our dynamic team. Javeler’s headquarters is located in New Iberia and this position is intended to be based within the Louisiana region with a primary focus on developing opportunities for inland/civil/salvage arena along the Louisiana coast. Key Functions Include:
  • Identify and build new business relationships with decision makers primarily in the Louisiana gulf coast region.
  • Further strengthening existing relationships with clients throughout the area.
  • Maintain and track market intelligence through client visits and industry news to generate new inquiries.
  • Capture information on activities of competing and complementary companies.
  • Participate in various functions related to industry organizations.
  • Continuously listen to the needs of clients for specialized solutions opportunities.
  • Report weekly on the pipeline of potential projects and MSAs.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of civil construction sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of inland construction projects and the bidding process.
  • Existing contacts/relationships in the market required.
  • Energetic, team-oriented, positive attitude.
