BELOW ARE SOME OF THE
CONTRACTS JAVELER HAS COMPLETED!
Maintenance Dredging for
Baton Rouge Neighborhood Association
Javeler Construction provided both
equipment and personnel necessary to perform maintenance dredging for a
neighborhood association. Javeler removed sediment from certain areas of the
lake and transported said sediment to a central disposal area within the
lake. The project was a success and both parties were very pleased.
The association was a pleasure to work with.
Wetland Restoration
This project was for marsh restoration near the mouth of the Neches
River. A spoil disposal area was created from the dredging of a
canal, a cooling water supply source for the power plant, was excavated
down to natural marsh levels to create “coastal prairie” . The
excavated spoils were hauled to a centrally located pit, mixed with
water from the canal to form slurry and pumped into the dead marsh area
to form islands and higher elevations to promote growth of vegetation.
The goals were accomplished with great success.
OC Fisher Dam Dredging Project
Javeler's dredging system excavating sediment from the face
of a dam in San Angelo, Texas. This joint venture with
Stolt Comex Seaway, used a TOYO 10inch pump hung from a 40 ton crane mounted
on a flexifloat barge. Pumped into a 10 x 10 booster then through
4,300 feet of high density polyethylene pipe to disposal site.

in Marine Terminal
Javeler at work dredging silt down to minus 40' in a designated 150' wide
channel that is 1800' long. Spoils are sent approximately 6000' to one of
the two approved disposal sites in the area. Javeler has an on
going maintenance dredging contract to ensure the terminal maintains
adequate depth along side the dock.
